Hey! this is just a teaser what is coming out soon.

So this is one part of my 737 cockpit simulator project. This overhead panel is designed by me and it is printed with 3D Printer. There's lot of to do but I think it's worth it.

Sometime in future I will share all material including measurements and 3D models for free. But not yet, because this is not a final version.

What else I have almost ready is control yokes including whole control system, 737 shaft which was not a quite success but by few modifications is should satisfy, MIP with screens is done very far and computers for instruments.

Idea for this project is to manufacture 737 home simulator with very tight budget and to make these panels available for everyone to print with 3D printer. I also have a very low amount of time to make this ready, so I'm using a lot of time with this.

Since we are doing the same project, but I work in solidworks however, and have plenty of time to work on it this, drop me a email if u need any help or would like to collaborate. Especially with the dual extruding light pipe work for back-lighting.

    Welcome!

My name is Martin, I'm from Finland. I bought 3D printer in beginning of 2013 and started learning 3D modeling. Suddenly I came a cross with 737 video which looked like video from real 737 cockpit. After that video I decided that I must build one, but money was the problem. Most realistic simulators could cost from 50k to 200k+ and that is way too much for me. So I started to create my own panels and mechanism using 3D modeling software and 3D printer. It's also one goal to get this available for everyone who has interest to this kind of projects.

Download my android apps and games to support my work. Thank you!
